An Easy Way to Learn Piano

So you want to learn how to play the piano, but you don't want it to take years and you don't want it to be painful. This seems reasonable. Not a whole lot of people like to spend a lot of time and energy doing something difficult only to fail miserably! It doesn't have to be that way, though. Learning some basic and cheery songs can be easy if you let it happen and approach it from the right direction.

Perhaps you have tried before and given up because you thought it was too hard. Yet you know it is a good thing to learn and it sure would be cool to be able to play. Would you consider learning again if you knew that this time would be different and you would master the instrument? Or is it that you have admired the beauty of the piano, looked at the keys and the pedals below and thought, well, this is nice but it looks really complicated and I dare not even try.

There are lots of ways to learn how to play the piano. Some are easier than others. Some have different goals than others. We are looking for the easy way, and there is nothing wrong with that. You have some options here. You could go buy a book about it and work your way through that. I have done that and it's not so bad. Just to be able to hit the keys and make a pleasant sound felt great. Unfortunately, I also found it clunky and slowly paced. I also had a piano teacher and that had its ups and downs. I really hated being criticized, although of course she was right. Slowly my enthusiasm for the piano waned. Scheduling lessons became a drag and although I made some progress it was slow.

The easiest way I know how to learn piano is to make it into a game. That's the best way to learn anything because you can make it fun. Have fun while learning the piano. Incorporate as many game elements as you can into the process. It helps to have a computer to do this, and if you are reading this article then you have one and that's a great thing. You can learn how to play the piano easily using some great online instruction. Some of these programs do include the game idea and some are more formal, but it's an easy, no pressure way to begin. If you'll just take action and start it's all downhill from there provided you choose the right course of study.

Learn Piano Online In A Fast And Easy Manner

If you want to learn piano online like me, then you know that this can be a not so easy task to accomplish. As a beginner, I knew absolutely nothing about pianos before trying to learn it. I simply bought a keyboard and decided that I wanted to learn to play it, instead of it collecting dust like my old guitar is. The best part to learn piano online is that you don’t have to sit on a little bench with your legs dangling off while your eighty year old neighbor sits their and corrects your posture.

Black Keys: If you want to learn piano online, the first things you must learn are the keys. Black keys come in groups of two and groups of three. This means something that will be described next.
White Keys: The white key right before the first black key in the two group is the C note. From then on, a total of 7 notes are played, in a repeating pattern.

Hands: Your hands are your tools. Treat them well, because if you lose them, you no longer play. A good rule of thumb is that for the right side of the keyboard; only use your right hand. Left side uses only the left hand to play.

Now, you want to have fun. Try to just play a few random notes. Don’t worry how it sounds or the fact that you aren’t playing a song; just get yourself accustomed to the keyboard. Remember to also use the black keys in your practice session, as many people forget those keys completely. Also remember to keep the left hand on the left side and right on right.

Hand eye coordination is another huge factor in learning piano online. Your eyes might see the keys you want to hit, but your hands must hit them correctly. This may not happen all the time, so practice a simple song with just one hand until you have perfected it. Then, try a slightly harder song, and see if you can keep up your hand-eye coordination, using the same or different hands.

Pretty soon you will be learning how to play using both hands and maybe someday you will learn to read sheet music, but if that doesn’t happen don’t get discouraged. Some of the best pianists could not read sheet music, but were still considered some of the best of their time.

If you desire to learn piano online, then it is a must that you get the needed information and resources that you need to be just as good as Beethoven :) http://www.squidoo.com/learnpianoonline/
